As part of the Republic of Tatarstan's delegation to Uzbekistan, the Standart Prof Factory presented its products and the latest achievements in thermoplastic elastomer production at the new Chirchik Industrial Technopark. The Standart Prof Factory's booth and products were personally presented by the company's Director and founder, Vasily Vasilyevich Novokshonov.
The official opening ceremony of the Chirchik Technopark was held on March 23, 2022, by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov. Tatarstan's delegation included President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, General Director of Technopolis Khimgrad, Airat Gizzatullin, General Director of Idea Capital Management Company, Alexey Grushin, and Deputy General Director for Investments and Innovations at Khimgrad JSC, Farit Gazizov. The planned investment volume for all residents of the Chirchik Technopark is expected to reach $24.7 million, with 204 jobs created, annual revenues of $211.5 million, and annual tax payments of $2.5 million.
A special resolution of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, provides residents with significant tax incentives and an exemption from customs duties for up to three years.
During this working visit, representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan's delegation and Uzbek enterprises signed 20 different agreements and memoranda confirming agreements on developing bilateral cooperation. According to the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, certain agreements were reached on developing cooperation between the Nizhnekamsk District of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Chirchik Municipality; between Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and the Center for Genomics and Bioinformatics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Between KER-holding and Uzbekneftegaz; between the municipality of Innopolis and Bilim Tech LLC on cooperation in innovation; between JSC Innopolis SEZ and the Directorate of the Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies LLC to develop support measures for high-tech companies; between Innopolis University and the Tashkent University of Information Technology named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, and others.
Cooperation between Khimgrad JSC and Uzkimyosanoat JSC, which is the client for the Chirchik Technopark project, will be carried out on the basis of equality, mutual interest, and mutual assistance. This multilateral business partnership is aimed at attracting Russian and Uzbek investment to establish production of high-added-value, import-substituting products in demand on foreign markets within the park. Under the resolution, Technopolis Khimgrad manages the technopark's investment activities, attracting investors and residents.
